Photographs of the Gregory family of Portland, Or., dating from circa 1875-1965. Subjects include portraits of various members of the Gregory family, including attorney William Montgomery Gregory, his wife Lenore Sparks Gregory, and their son, Lair Hill Gregory, sportswriter for the Oregonian newspaper, among others. There are also portraits of members of the related Hill and Montgomery families, including images of William Lair Hill, editor of the Oregonian (1872-1877), lawyer, judge, and author of early Oregon and Washington law codes, and his wife, Julia Chandler Hill. There is also one photograph of the William Montgomery Gregory home in Portland, Or. This collection is only partially processed.
